In order to be able to create a Prisma account, you need a so-called ORCID-id. ORCID is an international researcher directory that forms a mandatory part of the Prisma system. If you have not already created a researcher ID, you can do so on the ORCID websiteexternal link (a link is also provided in Prisma). Please note that publications listed in ORCID are not linked to the Prisma system.

Novo Nordisk Fonden

ORCID er et ansøgningskrav i flere af puljerne under Novo Nordisk Fonden. Formuleringen, der anvendes er enslydende i vejledningerne til nedenstående puljer:

Notes for the Personal Information:
ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is an open, non-profit endeavor to register and link researcher efforts and output. The applicant must sign up in ORCID (https://orcid.org/) and introduce the membership ID in the appropriate field.

ORCID is a unique identifier, which researchers can associate with their name variations and their research works, to ensure that these links can be made accurately and reliably. NNF uses the information from ORCID to ensure that grantees receive full credit for their work for the benefit of both individual researchers and their institutions.

Formuleringen ses i Guidelines for Applicants vedrørende de puljer, der er åbne for ansøgning (februar 2015):  (http://www.novonordiskfonden.dk/da/ansogning-abent)

Where possible, it is also recommended that contributors be uniquely identifiable, and data uniquely attributable, through identifiers which are persistent, non-proprietary, open and interoperable (e.g. through leveraging existing sustainable initiatives such as ORCID for contributor identifiers and DataCite for data identifiers).
